Week four, and hanging in....

Well it's day 2 of week 4 and so far so good. I'm down about 11 lbs and I feel good about that.

Had an incredible meal tonight. I made a recipe from the Sept/October 2009 issue of WW magazine, Thai Chicken with Basil on page 132. 4 points , 6 is you add a half cup of brown rice which I did. I am all about the flavours right now. I truly love Asian food, Vietnamese and Thai, as i LOVE heat and spice. I find the heat in the dish satisfies me and doesn't leave me wanting for more. I have been experimenting with different ingredients to try to make my own "restaurant style" food in the comfort of my own home, and the recipe tonight was spot on! Garlic, chicken breast, Napa cabbage--which is really quite mild in taste, not cabbagey at all, fish sauce, basil, and some hot chili sauce for kick--the flavors married each other in my mouth!!! You have to try it!

My goal for this week--I have got to get MOVING. I used to love fitness and activity. I am promising to get walking this week. I will try for 35 minutes maybe 4 times this week.
